Memento Mori/Sympatheia Ceramic Hand-Built Planter

This is a two-part, hand-built ceramic planter. It's engraved with some of my favorite principles, “memento morí” meaning, remember that you will die. It may seem dark to some, but it’s important to me as it reminds me of what is truly important in life, and it makes me grateful for every day that I have.

Similarly, the stoic principle, “sympathiea” refers to mutual interdependence and oneness among everything in the universe.

To me, these phrases nurture a natural connection between everything in the world. Energy recycles and death is never a true end.

With drainage stand, planter is 7 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.
